ETD2017 Symposium

The Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD) organizes international practice-oriented conferences to support ETD professionals from graduate schools, libraries, academic computing and others who work with electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), institutional repositories, graduate students and scholarly communications. The United States Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Association (USETDA), a collaborative partner, hosts relevant, practice-oriented conferences to support ETD professionals, advance ETD operations, and encourage the formation of state-wide and regional ETD associations in the United States. The NDLTD and the USETDA are co-organizing the international "ETD2017" Symposium.

  • ETD2017 Symposium

    August 7, 2017 – August 9, 2017

    ETD2017, the 20th international symposium on electronic theses and dissertations will be held August 7 – 9, 2017  at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Washington, D.C. The conference will be hosted by George Mason University with additional support from the Washington Research Library Consortium and co-organized by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD) and the United States Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Association (USETDA). Complete information is available from the USETDA Website.

US ETD Association

The US ETD Association hosts relevant, practice-oriented conferences to support ETD professionals, advance ETD operations, and encourage the formation of state-wide ETD associations in the United States.

  • USETDA 2016 Conference

    September 29, 2016 – September 30, 2016

    USETDA 2016 is for ETD professionals from graduate schools, libraries, information technology and others who work with ETDs. Our goal is to offer relevant, practice-oriented content to support ETD program improvement and professional development, advance ETD operations, and encourage the formation of state-wide ETD associations in the United States. Although targeted toward US ETD professionals, our non-US ETD colleagues are encouraged to attend. Complete information is available from the USETDA Website.
